Mattel | WWE Defining Moments | Bret “Hitman” Hart

It's time for Wrestlemania, and what better way to celebrate by taking a look at the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. He is the Excellence of Execution, one of the greatest of all time, he is the one and only Bret "Hitman" Hart. He is #1A for me, standing next to Stone Cold Steve Austin, and when it comes to being a technical wrestler, I think Bret is the greatest ever. Continue Reading

Bandai | S.H. Figuarts | Kamen Rider Amazon

I never got to watch Kamen Rider Amazon until I lived in Japan in 2004-2005. A friend of mine was kind enough to let me see the series and it was strange to watch to say the least. He's not my favorite Kamen Rider, and feels like the odd man out a lot of times. This might be because unlike his predecessors, his motif is of a piranha and not of a bug. He's very interesting indeed. Continue Reading

Hot Toys | The Dark Knight | Batman

I'm a huge fan of Batman. I am by no means an expert, but the character resonated with me even when I was 3 years old and watching the Superfriends. I fondly remember saving his pages for last in my coloring books. I even remember watching the campy TV program at my grandparents' house. I think it's fairly obvious I hold this figure as one of my prized figures. Continue Reading

Mattel | WWE Legends | Stone Cold Steve Austin

Oh, give me a hell yeah! It's that time of year, the road to Wrestlemania and what better way to celebrate than to take a look at arguably one of the Greatest of All Time - Stone Cold Steve Austin. He helped catapult professional wrestling to new heights in the late 90's and is the undisputed icon of the famous WWF Attitude Era. So with a two bird salute, I take a look at my favorite wrestler. What? I said he's my favorite wrestler, and that's the bottom line. Continue Reading

Mattel | MOTU Classics | Man-At-Arms

The most memorable cartoon heroes of the 80's always had important characters to support them. Duke always had Scarlett, Optimus Prime had Bumblebee, and He-Man had Man-At-Arms. It was one of the figures I never had as a kid, mainly because I preferred to have the villains, but I always regretted not having him in my collection. Part of it was because the toy didn't quite reflect the character on TV. He had a mustache and the action figure didn't. I guess it was a deal-breaker for me way back when. Continue Reading
